ABOUT
With 47 prefectures and around 700 cities, the tapestry of Japan's landscapes and cultures is vast and diverse. However, more than 80% of the tourists only visit the popular destinations, leaving the rest unnoticed and unexplored.
From my lifelong experience, I believe that creating memories with genuine, friendly people is what truly stays in your heart for a long time.
Let me create a special plan for your visit to my hometown based on your interests and the time of your visit. Your dream journey to Japan can start today – please take a look at our sample tours to ignite your imagination. I prefer to keep my regular tour size smaller (2-6 people). If you are coming with a big group or would like a personal tour, please inquire. I will do my best to accommodate everyone and ensure a happy experience.
Hello there
Call me Aunt Yuko!
Are you planning to visit Japan for the first time or returning for another adventure? Come and visit me, your Japanese aunt and guide, for an authentic local experience in Tochigi just outside of Tokyo (only 90 min by train or bus).I'm a native of Sano, Tochigi, who ventured to the U.S. (New York, New Jersey) over 30 years ago. Recently, I returned to my charming hometown and rediscovered its unique treasures and surrounding areas. I’m working with the Sano Tourism Association to promote the southern Tochigi area for inbound tourism, as it hasn't received the spotlight it deserves. While we may not have many nationally renowned landmarks, we offer an immersive local Japanese experience that you'll cherish. For any requests or inquiries about your trip to Japan, feel free to send me an email. I am thrilled to be a part of your unforgettable Japanese adventure!

Sano and its surrounding towns boast rich natural beauty, culture, and history. Sano is not only famous for its nationally recognized Sano Ramen but also for having the oldest brewery in Tochigi, authentic Japanese indigo dye, and historic Tenmyou metal casting. Tochigi City is well known for its preserved old houses and storage buildings (kura), while Ashikaga is a beautiful historic town reminiscent of Kamakura, with a history dating back to the 14th century.
